    About Tekanji

Andrea Rubenstein, aka tekanji, is the co-founder of the Iris Gaming Network and the game design student whose life and times are being chronicled here. She has a BA in Asian Area Studies (minor in Classical Myth, Religion, and Literature) from the University of British Columbia. In April of 2006 she moved to Japan for the purpose of studing Japanese at The Yamasa Institute. She is currently attending HAL computer college in Osaka. She hopes to get a career in the video game industry (ideally helping to plan the design for MMOs) and one day start her own company.

Why haven’t you answered my e-mail?

I occasionally get e-mails from people, many of which have questions that require time to give proper answers to. Time, unfortunately, is not something I have a lot of; not just because of my demanding school schedule but also because of the responsibilities I have to maintain the sites that I own. When I have time I will respond to the e-mails and/or update the FAQ section of this site based on the questions I get, but chances are I won’t respond in any timely manner to your inquiries. It is probably easier to communicate with me through Iris’ forums than any other medium.
